Like the states of the northern border area of the country, the state of Nayarit and Michoacán will join the program to regularize the so-called “chocolate cars”, as announced by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
From Nayarit, he expressed that he is committed to applying the program for the “regularization of the cars of relatives of countrymen because they have also helped us a lot”, in both entities. “Originally it was thought for the border area, but already They made the request to us, we also decided to extend it to Michoacán ”, he said in the morning conference.
According to López Obrador, the purpose is to benefit Mexican families that do not have sufficient financial resources to purchase a new car. He clarified that in these states it will only be allowed to regularize chocolate cars that enter until the end of December 2021.
