Amaia, Natalia Lacunza and Chica Sobresalto, stars of Ribera Sound, the first festival made up entirely of women


The Riverside Sound announced its line-up this morning, becoming the first large-format festival made up entirely of women. The festival, which will be held on July 15, 16 and 17 in Tudela (Navarra)will therefore have 100% female artists to “make visible, recognize and extol their indisputable musical quality within a scene that still shows great inequality”.

Among the artists who lead this poster are Amaia and Rozalen. The Navarran artist will present her imminent new album live, of which she has already previewed songs like ‘Yo Invito’ or ‘Yamaguchi’. For her part, Rozalén, recently awarded the National Prize for Current Music, will review her extensive career, including her acclaimed latest work ‘El Árbol y el Bosque’.

They will be accompanied on stage by the pop staff of Natalia Lacunza, which will also release its new album this year; Chilean-French singer, rapper and songwriter Anne Tijoux with its hip hop fusion of vindictive and fighting character; the promise of Argentine rap sofia gabana, sister of hurricane Nathy Peluso who mixes R&B, denbow, boom bap and even classic 90’s rap like nobody else; indie-pop without borders MARLENAa duo made up of Ana and Carol that swept away with their single ‘Me Sabe Mal’ after triumphing in the editions of X Factor Italy and Spain.

Next to them will be Startled Girl, Maialen’s alter ego, who reached No. 1 with the release of his recent ‘Sinapsis’; the young producer and experimental pop artist Mary Blaya, which has stood out with singles like ‘De Mi Para Ti’ or ‘Como Arde’; the Catalan rapper Miss Raissa, which stands up with rhymes to discrimination for being a woman, immigrant and Muslim; the self-taught artist Paula Matheus, whose career has been unstoppable since the release of his first EP, ‘Veintitantas Primaveras’; the Navarrese singer-songwriter andrea santiago, which reaches the heart with its musical honesty in its purest form; and the talent and delicacy of Anne Lukinwhich surprised by his youth with the depth of his debut ‘The next day’.
