A Windsor man faces drunk driving charges after fleeing the scene of an accident involving the truck he was driving last weekend.

Windsor police said patrol officers were called Nov. 14 around 11:30 p.m. to the intersection of Dougall Avenue and Nottingham Street in south Windsor, near the Walmart Supercentre.
There had been a collision between two vehicles, one of them a green Ford F-150 pickup.
The truck had left the area before the officers arrived.
Police were able to obtain a description of the suspect and his vehicle, quickly locating both in the 3200 block of Longfellow Avenue, approximately one kilometer from the scene of the collision.
The suspect driver was arrested without issue.
No injuries were reported in the collision.

The defendant is a 37-year-old Windsor resident. He has been charged with operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, operating a motor vehicle with 0.08 blood alcohol, failing to remain at the scene of a collision, and breach of commitment.
Windsor Police request that all residents or homeowners in the area of the intersection where the collision occurred, or in the 3200 block of Longfellow Avenue, review their surveillance video recordings on the night in question for potential evidence.
