The Barcelona’s town hall he has alerted to the Mossos an attempt to scam users of the telecare service.
These people have received calls informing them that they had to pay 20 euros for the service, when it is free.
The consistory has evidence of about 200 people notified with this false message, although none of them would have made the payment that they were asked.

The first notice is October 13. The consistory informed the Mossos of the facts this Thursday.
Given these facts, the city council has begun to notify the 74,000 addresses this morning who have the service active in order to alert them to this scam attempt.
