A group representing Alberta teachers is rekindling fierce opposition to the government’s proposed curriculum for students in kindergarten through sixth grade.

The Alberta Teachers Association surveyed more than 6,500 teachers about the plan and says it is a moral imperative that the United Conservative government listen to their concerns.

Teachers surveyed said it reads like a 1950s curriculum and lacks a clear vision and goal.
