Aguascalientes highlights the increase in support for projects of entrepreneurs and MSMEs

In order to complement the actions to reactivate and boost the state economy, the Ministry of Economic Development (Sedec) from Aguascalientes announced that during 2021 888 projects of local entrepreneurs, micro and small businesses were supported with 38.3 million pesos.

The head of the Aguascalientes Sedec, Manuel Alejandro González Martínez, stated that this support for productive subsidies came from Promipyme and globally, 50.7% of the projects were led by men and 49.3% led by women.

The number of applications received and approved has been increasing every year, since in 2019 a total of 180 projects were supported and with the adjustments in the operating rules, by 2020 the figure reached 509 ”, he said.

The state official explained that since it was implemented in 2019, more than 109 million pesos have been allocated for this program.

González Martínez pointed out that the resources were destined for the acquisition of equipment, machinery, infrastructure and payment of business services, among others.

“It supports the growth of companies, in its three editions 1,577 business units, located in all the municipalities of the state, have benefited,” he stressed.
