Advances in social deprivation in Mexico: Coneval 2020

In Mexico, the poverty measurement it is multidimensional, which implies that not only people’s income is considered, but also their access to basic social rights.

In the last 10 years, these rights are still far from millions of Mexicans; according to figures from Coneval (National Council for the Evaluation of Social Development Policy) still half of Mexicans present lack of social security and the educational backwardness it has deepened in the poorest regions of the country such as Guerrero, Chiapas and Oaxaca.
