The plane, of the Turkish company Anadolu Jet –a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines–, already had all its passengers on board, about 160, when they began to receive on their phones an image corresponding to an accident that occurred in 2009 in the Netherlands, presumably sent by someone in the area via Wifi or Bluetooth.

The Israel Airports Authority has explained that, following this incident, all passengers returned to the terminal and the staff proceeded to check their luggage.
