A flight that was about to take off from the main airport of Israel heading to Turkey has been aborted at the last minute after passengers received on their mobile phones images of a plane crash, in an event that the authorities are already investigating.
The plane, of the Turkish company Anadolu Jet –a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines–, already had all its passengers on board, about 160, when they began to receive on their phones an image corresponding to an accident that occurred in 2009 in the Netherlands, presumably sent by someone in the area via Wifi or Bluetooth.
