Picture this. It’s 8th grade graduation and I’m proudly wearing an Abercrombie & Fitch floral minidress complete with underwire cups for my non-existent breasts. I looked adorable and also exactly like any other eighth grader at prom—wearing anything besides an Abercrombie dress was simply out of the question. Now that I’m 25, I can’t imagine frequenting the same special occasion clothing stores, and yet I spent the morning thumbing through Abercrombie’s wedding guest dresses in pleasant disbelief. In a truly shocking turn of events, I plan on channeling my high school self and wearing A&F as formal wear.
Abercrombie & Fitch has had the rebranding of the century from heavily branded t-shirts marketed for a size XS to elevated wardrobe staples included. Every time I feel like I’ve exhausted my online shopping options, I remember checking out the brand’s site and each time, I’ve found exactly the piece I had envisioned. I even wore an Abercrombie vest and skirt ensemble to fashion week.
With my recent shopping success with A&F, I shouldn’t have been so surprised by the wedding guest dress section. Abercrombie included an entire section of her website for “The Best Dressed Guest” collection, which means they know exactly what they’re doing Instead of short cupcake dresses, the site is filled with beautiful asymmetrical hemlines, classic dresses, and mature floral prints, all for under $150.
Just by adding a fancy heel and sparkly bag, you are guaranteed to be the most stylish wedding guest. Plus, when the big day is over, you can tone down the dresses and wear them for sunset happy hours and rooftop bar escapes. Keep looking for dresses that suit any special occasion.

Long halter neck dress
This floral maxi dress is instantly elevated by the square neck halter detail. The unique structure gives Jacquemus vibes at a much more affordable price. This style comes in five colors and the halter neck can be twisted and tied in multiple variations. Needless to say, it’s amazing.

The asymmetrical ruching on this blue dress is super chic, and the cowl neck is just begging to be paired with a statement necklace. This is a great choice for a fun dance floor wedding because of the flirty side slit. Cheer up because it comes in three colors.
