A seriously injured in a road trip in La Pêche


A man was seriously injured on Tuesday evening when he left the road in La Pêche, Outaouais.

According to the police, the man was speeding on Principale Ouest around 9:20 p.m. driving a Ford F250 pickup truck when he suddenly lost control of his vehicle near Legros Road.

“The vehicle would have rolled over and the driver found himself caught under the vehicle,” summarized Lieutenant Daniel Pariseau of the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais police.

The victim, a 32-year-old man from La Pêche, suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital in Hull, Gatineau.

An investigation has been opened to try to find out more about the circumstances surrounding this accident.
