A poem by Reyes, by Josep Maria Fonalleras

Among the six poems that T. S. Eliot wrote for the Faber & Faber Christmas collection, there is a perfect one, with the forcefulness of moral ideas, for the day we celebrate today. Its titled Journey of the Magi’ and recounts the evocation, years later, of one of the three kings. Describe the penalties they had to endure (the lacerated camels, the hostile cities, the fires that were going out), the details of the madness until they found the place. It was a satisfying trip, he says. I find this adjective fascinating for such an enormous adventure.
