A motorcyclist from 54 years has died this Friday after crashing this Thursday at noon with a truck on the N-240 road in Valls (Tarragona), as reported by the Servei Català de Trànsit (SCT) in a statement.
The Mossos d’Esquadra received the notice at 1:09 p.m. on Thursday, when for reasons that are still being investigated, there was a collision between a truck and a motorcycle.

As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist was critically injured and was transferred to the Joan XXIII Hospital, where he finally died this Friday.

As a result of the incident, which forced the southbound road to be cut off, four Mossos d’Esquadra patrols, two Generalitat Fire Brigade crews and three ambulances from the Medical Emergency System (SEM) were activated.
With this victim, there are 58 people who have died in traffic accidents this year on the interurban road network of Catalonia, 10 of whom are motorcyclists.
