HOLLYWOOD actress Zara Phythian has threatened to burn a girl’s belongings after the star and her husband sexually abused the girl, a court has heard.
Phythian, who starred opposite Benedict Cumberbatch in the 2016 Marvel film Doctor Strange, reportedly gave the 13-year-old rum in a three-year reign of terror.

When the complainant said she no longer wanted to see artist and husband Victor Marke, prosecutors say Phythian said, “Don’t come back, I’m burning your stuff.”
Phythian and Marke, 59, are alleged to have started grooming the girl before assaulting her at her home between 2005 and 2008.
Both are martial arts experts and Marke, a Tawkwondo “master”, is accused of filming the incidents in an “attempt to recreate pornographic scenes”.
Jurors at Nottingham Crown Court were told the alleged abuse began after the girl was given rum and 36-year-old Phythian “dared” her to perform a sexual act on Marke.
At the time of the first accusation, Phythian would have been 20 or 21 years old, while Marke was 42 or 43.
The assaults are said to have progressed to include full-on sexual intercourse, occurring “once or twice a month”.
The Markes are jointly charged with 14 counts of sexual activity with a child, which they deny.
This morning, his alleged victim, who is now an adult, tearfully told the audience how she finally revealed what she described as her “darkest secret”.
She decided to come forward after a police officer visited her mother’s house to tell her that another girl had claimed that Marke abused her.
The complainant said she “would never have come forward” and planned to “die with my shame.”
However, she had recently become a mother and felt “I had no choice to speak my truth”, she said.
Giving evidence from behind a screen, he added: “That was my deepest, darkest secret.

“I thought that if I said anything, my family would hate me. At that time I really hated my mother.
“I was stuck because I had this secret and I couldn’t tell him.”
She had previously alleged that the couple “took advantage” of her and claimed that Zara had an intimate tattoo of an Eastern symbol meaning “paradise”.
“They saw my vulnerability and took advantage of that,” he said.

“I don’t know what he did with them. I never saw them again. I didn’t want to see them.
“He was ashamed. It was a power they had over me.
“I never knew how to get out of that situation. I didn’t see a way out.”
He eventually told the defendants that he would not return several years later, he said.
The court previously heard that Marke’s marriage broke down around 2005 after he had an affair with Phythian, who was a teenager at the time.
At the time the allegation was made, Phythian was enjoying “unprecedented personal and professional success” after taking on the role of ‘Brunette Zealot’ in Doctor Strange.
In 2020, he reportedly turned down a role performing with Britain’s Got Talent Diversity winners at their UK dance because he was “defending a world (martial arts) title in India”.
He is also accused of four more charges, all denied, of indecent assault on another teenage girl between 2002 and 2003.
The trial continues.
