A cyclist suffered serious injuries on Saturday afternoon after being involved in an accident with a vehicle on Chemin du Mont-des-Cascades, in Cantley, Outaouais.
Police officers from the MRC des Collines-de-l’Outaouais were called to the scene of the accident around 2:20 p.m.
The 59-year-old man was transported to a hospital center, but there is no fear for his life. The driver of the vehicle and his passenger escaped unharmed.
According to initial findings, a maneuver by the cyclist would be involved.
Traffic was temporarily alternated in the area, but returned to normal by late afternoon.
