Pelosi affirms that the United States will support Ukraine “until victory”

The Ukrainian leader has accompanied the message with a video where he appears, flanked by armed guards, welcoming Pelosi and a congressional delegation in front of the presidency in kyiv.

“Our delegation has traveled to kyiv to send an unequivocal and strong message to the world: the United States stands with Ukraine,” the US delegation said in a statement.

For her part, Pelosi has declared that the visit is a gesture of gratitude from the United States to the Ukrainian authorities. “We are here to say thank you for your fight for freedom. Your fight is everyone’s fight,” he assured.

The speaker of the chamber also highlighted “the leadership and courage” shown by Zelensky before “praising the Ukrainian people for their outstanding defense of democracy.”
