The TSJC cancels the retreat of the Barcelona Gold Medal to Rodolfo Martín Villa

Section 5 of the Sala de lo Contencioso-Administrativo del Tribunal Superior de Justicia de Catalunya (TSJC) has annulled the decision of the Barcelona City Council to withdraw the Medal of Honor from Prime Minister Rodolfo Martín Villa, due on March 30, 1976.

The tribunal dictates that the municipal agreement of withdraw medals of gold based on Article 6 of the 2012 Municipal Regulations, which introduces the possibility of revocation of the medals “by acts of his concession, not contemplated in the previous regulations”.

So, the sentence determines that “Retreat is possible when coetanic hechs are produced does not know at the time of the authorization or by acts or manifestations contrary to the reasons justifying the concession “.
