Peel Regional Police say a woman is seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle on the north end of Brampton.
Emergency crews were called to Boivard Drive and Torbram Road around 5:30 am Tuesday for reports of a pedestrian and vehicle collision.
Police said a woman was taken to hospital in serious condition.

The driver of the vehicle remained on the scene.
Officers have closed the immediate area to traffic.
