The Saskatchewan government reported 341 new COVID-19 cases and eight new hospitalized COVID-19 patients on Saturday.

Saskatoon reported 78 cases, followed by North Central with 47 cases.
The 0-19 age group reported 120 new cases, while 116 cases corresponded to unvaccinated residents. It is unclear how many of those 116 individuals are under the age of 12 and therefore ineligible for vaccination.
Another resident who tested positive for COVID-19 died, the province also reported Saturday.
The seven-day average of new cases per day is 364 or 30.2 per 100,000 population.
Of the 198 hospitalized patients with COVID-19, 43 patients are in the ICU.

Healthcare workers in Saskatchewan administered 2,754 additional COVID-19 vaccines since the province’s last COVID-19 update on Friday. As of Saturday’s update, a total of 707,273 residents are fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
