Three people have been arrested and are facing various charges after a drug raid in Hamilton’s city center.
On Wednesday, Hamilton police’s HEAT (high enforcement action team) unit, with the help of the BEAR (burglary, car theft and robbery) unit, carried out a search warrant at a residence in the vicinity of King and Steven Street.
As a result of the search warrant, police located and seized a loaded revolver and eight grams of fentanyl.
Two adult men and a juvenile were charged with various offenses, including drug and firearm possession.

The youth are also facing charges related to breach of probation and non-compliance with a court order.
Police are urging members of the public to report all incidents of suspicious activity and crime, as part of the ongoing effort to get guns off city streets.
