This year’s PNE Prize Home has many firsts.
Article content
It is the first time the home has been pre-built in Langley, the first home with a mortgage-helper suite, and the first with an electric-vehicle charger and solar panels.
Valued at $2.4 million (including the property and furniture), the home is Tuscan-themed and built by Wesmont Homes.
It is second year in a row the home has been pre-built, so is available for tours. Previously, the home was displayed at the PNE grounds in Vancouver and then custom-built for the winner on a predetermined lot.
The 2022 home at 19622 73C Ave. covers 3,408 square feet over three levels, with three bedrooms and a half room.
The mortgage helper is a one-bedroom legal basement suite.
The prize home will be available for tours from June 11 to July 24 (Saturdays and Sundays only: 10 am to 4 pm). Free tour tickets will be available through TicketLeader in early June.
Tickets are available to pneprizehome.ca.
