20-Year-Old Man Dies in Car Accident in Onslow, NS – Halifax | The Canadian News

The Nova Scotia RCMP says a young man was killed in a single vehicle accident in Onslow on Friday morning.

In a statement, police say officers, EHS and the Oslow Belmont Fire Department responded to a single-vehicle accident near the 400 block of Onslow Mountain Road at 7:36 a.m.

“The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a 20-year-old man from Belmont, was pronounced dead at the scene,” the statement said.

Police say an RCMP collision analyst is on the scene and the road was closed Friday afternoon.

It is expected to remain closed until tonight and traffic will be diverted to Belmont Road and Vincent Drive.
