Two people were sent to the hospital after a hit-and-run accident in Calgary on Sunday, police said.
Officers responded to Richmond Road SW near Sarcee Trail around 1:45 p.m. after reports of a multi-vehicle accident.
EMS said two people were taken to the hospital: a school-age boy with serious injuries and a man in his 20s with minor injuries.
Police said a suspect took off after the hit-and-run.
The westbound lanes of Richmond Road were closed on Sarcee Trail while officers investigated.
