19-Year-Old Man Charged With Assault On 2 Women In Brampton Parks, Peel Police Say – Toronto | The Canadian News

Peel Regional Police say a man was charged after two women were assaulted in Brampton parks this month.

Police said in a press release Wednesday that the first incident occurred in Massey Park, located near Bramalea Road and Bovaird Drive East, on September 15 at around 10:55 a.m.

The suspect allegedly approached a victim and grabbed her by the shoulder. Police said the victim was able to escape, called for help and the suspect escaped into a wooded area.

The statement says the second incident occurred on September 21 at around 11:30 a.m. The suspect allegedly approached a victim in Jayfield Park, located near Torbram Road and Williams Parkway, and assaulted her before fleeing the area.

Police said 19-year-old Paul Yousif, of Brampton, was charged Tuesday with battery, assault with a weapon and battery causing bodily harm.
