Last year, the Union of Petroleum Workers of the Mexican Republic (STPRM) received an overall salary increase of 5.16 percent. The increase is divided into 3.4% salary and 1.7% benefits. 4. Benefit for permanent transfer

If the move is permanent, they will receive, in addition to the travel expenses for the whole family and the move payment, 100 days salary as a bonus. (clause 85)

5. Orthodontics for children

8. Death support

If the worker dies, Pemex will grant 140 days’ salary to the family for funeral expenses and another 5,000 days if it is the result of a work risk, in addition to other payments 30% higher in seniority premium, life insurance, pension post mortem examination and others. If the person who dies is the worker’s successor, he will receive 7,524 pesos as assistance for the funeral. (clause 127)

9. Spacious Holiday

From the first year of service, they are entitled to 21 ordinary holidays. After reaching the age of 10, they can enjoy an annual period of 30 days. The holiday premium is equal to 207% of tabled wages. (clause 142)

10. The highest bonus

The payment of the bonus is equivalent to 60 days of ordinary salary, it is paid between 1 and 15 December and for its calculation the average salary is taken into account with updated value to the current table from 30 November of each year. (clause 152)

11. Assistance for school supplies

The company will pay for the books, supplies and other items required by the daughters and sons of the workers required by the schools supported by the company or requested by the SEP no later than 20 days after the start of each school year. (clause 163)

12. Help for sports

Those who join the teams of different sports disciplines organized by the company will receive, among other things, uniforms, suitcases, shoes, protective equipment and towels. (clause 166)

13. Scholarships for continuous training

Pemex provides 1,800 scholarships to workers each year for their academic training in institutions recognized by the Ministry of Public Education (SEP). The monthly amount depends on the degree they are studying, but it varies from 3,000 to 5,365 pesos (clause 171)
