Atlético de Madrid announced this Wednesday that the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) has accepted his request for precautionary measures against the sanction received by UEFA. A decision that implies that the Wanda Metropolitano will be full tonight in the decisive Champions League quarter-final match against Manchester City.
UEFA had sanctioned the mattress club for the Nazi or fascist court gestures made by several of their ultras during the first leg of the tie, played on Tuesday of last week at the Etihad Stadium. The punishment was having to leave 5,000 seats empty tonight, for a match in which all seats were sold.
The TAS responds to our request and provisionally suspends the partial closure of the Wanda Metropolitano; All members and fans with a season ticket or seat for tonight’s game will be able to access the stadium.
