Musetti, the 83rd-ranked player in the world, took an hour and 42 minutes to defeat the 21-year-old Montreal tennis player on the clay court of Rainier III. Auger-Aliassime, the ninth-ranked player in the world, is now 1-2 in his career against Musetti.
