More than 6,000 “chocolate” cars have already been regularized


Governor Rocha and Secretary Rosa Icela Rodríguez visited the regularization module for vehicles of foreign origin, located in the parking lot of the Livestock Fair, to supervise this program that seeks to provide legal certainty in the possession of the so-called “chocolate” cars. to thousands of families that irregularly own these units.

Here they were able to witness the entire process, since the owner arrives with his unit, prior appointment requested on the Internet portal, the REPUVE is entered, which is the Public Vehicle Registry of the Government of the Republic with which the vehicle is formally legalized. , until the issuance of the plates and vehicle decal, and that does not take an hour from the time the car enters until it leaves already legalized and with its Sinaloa plates.

In this place, Secretary Rodríguez, in her capacity as head of the regularization program for cars of foreign origin that is applied in 12 states, announced that to date 6,602 units have been regularized in Sinaloa in the five modules located in Culiacán, Los Mochis, Mazatlán, Guasave and Guamúchil, and there are 16 thousand appointments already scheduled.

In turn, Governor Rocha announced that in addition to these five modules mentioned, mobile units will be available to bring this same service to other municipalities, so that the owners of these vehicles do not have to travel to other cities.

In the same way, it made the commitment that it will provide more equipment to this module of the Livestock Fair, to expand its service capacity, which is 350 cars per day.
