Toronto Police say the 14-year-old girl was at Royal York Station at 1:30 pm on April 5 when a man approached her and put his arms around her. Cops say he spoke to her while “escorting her in his direction from her.”

The teen asked the man to let her go and a bystander intervened, pulling her away from the man, who then left.

Investigators released an image of a suspect and an arrest was made Tuesday.

Leszek Kaptur, of Toronto, is charged with kidnapping and is scheduled to appear in Toronto West Courts on Friday at 10 am
