One of the most haunting headlines on Sunday’s EL PERIÓDICO was this: “Last Chance for the Planet.” Not just because it almost evoked a movie from sidereal catastrophes, but because it was (and is) true. The IPCC experts say so and many other scientists have even dared to say that the situation is already irreversible, that no matter how many measures are taken, the process tends to inevitable and fatal warming.
