Saguenay civil security and the Ministry of Public Security meet Thursday morning with the owners of the 24 residences evacuated by the landslide that occurred earlier this week in the borough of La Baie to present them with the assistance programs that will be offered to them.

The meeting is held in a crowded room at the Auberge des 21, in La Baie. The victims seemed to be impatiently awaiting this meeting which will finally offer them answers on the possible compensations they could receive.
Remember that some residences are still at risk of collapse as the break in the ground is close to the back of two or three identified houses.
Civil security and government authorities should take stock of the meeting around noon.
