According to figures from the Ministry of Economyforeign investments received by Mexico in the energy sector added another year with a downward trend, in 2021, a value of barely 453 million dollars was reached for this concept.
In 2018, the best year in reception of FDI in energythe value reached 5,020 million dollars.
This value includes all investments made with foreign capital in energy generation, transmission and distribution activities.
