Prime Minister Jason Kenney and Health Minister Jason Copping will provide the latest update on COVID-19 in Alberta on Tuesday afternoon.
The couple, along with Medical Director of Health, Dr. Deena Hinshaw and Dr. Verna Yiu, President and CEO of Alberta Health Services, will hold a press conference at 3:30 pm.
Earlier Tuesday, the government announced that as of October 11, 152,063 Albertans had signed up to receive the $ 100 pre-filled debit card to receive a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine. Albertans have until 11:59 p.m. on October 14 to receive their first or second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine if they want to sign up for a gift card.
