The Glorious Model D is a great mouse for the gamer on your holiday shopping list

There are a large number of computer mice available in a variety of prices, but if you play a lot on your PC, the Glorious Model D mouse is a great option. I had the opportunity to test out a Model D mouse, along with one of the excellent Glorious mouse pads, for the past few weeks and overall, I am very impressed. From excellent performance to its unique honeycomb design, the Model D is great for work and play. The mouse comes in a few variants: there is the 'D' and the 'D-', which refer to size (the D- is a bit smaller). Additionally, each size comes in black or white, and each color can be glossy or matte. I've been using the matte black, but both colors look great. I'm not a fan of shiny ones, but if that's your thing, more power to you. The overall design, while it looks like...

Huawei FreeBuds Pro premium design and noise cancellation

In just a few years, Huawei has become a popular and well-known brand around the world, especially in Canada. While the company's focus in Canada has been primarily smartphones, the past year brought a wider variety of technology north. This includes laptops, smart watches, wireless headphones, and even a Wi-Fi router. Earlier this year, Huawei released the FreeBuds 3 true wireless earbuds, and now it's enhancing its headphone set with the FreeBuds Pro. These new headphones are comfortable, sound great, and include top-of-the-line noise cancellation. Huawei's FreeBuds Pro cost $ 268, putting them in competition with headphones like Apple's AirPods Pro, Samsung's Galaxy Live Buds, and Google's Pixel Buds (2020). Surprisingly premium designThe FreeBuds Pro are available in 'Frosted S...

HomePod mini Review: Big Sound in a Small Package

The just over $ 100 smart speaker category is becoming extremely competitive. There are already a number of great inexpensive smart speakers like Amazon's new circular Echo and Google's Nest Audio. Now, with the launch of the $ 129 HomePod mini, Apple is also aiming to enter this space with its own tiny audio device. While the new HomePod mini is pretty miniature, especially compared to the standard HomePod, it still manages to output decent-sounding audio for such a small package. That said, even though Apple continues to expand Siri and HomePod features with features like 'Intercom,' the tech giant's voice-activated assistant isn't as capable as competitors like Amazon's Google Assistant and Alexa. Also, the compatibility of the music streaming service is unfortunately still not gre...

OnePlus Nord N10 5G Review: Not the Nord I’m Looking for

OnePlus has expanded its low-cost Nord lineup with the new N10 5G, but the second Nord phone is not the cost-effective mid-range phone that its big brother was. While this summer's Nord proved that a great phone can cost $ 600, the new N10 demonstrates which corners shouldn't be cut out when making a budget phone. When it comes to low-cost devices, the Nord N10 5G is fine, but compared to the excellent OnePlus Nord, it's a considerable disappointment. What makes this a Norse?OnePlus is making big moves by launching two new low-cost phones in the UK, with availability in North America coming at a later date. However, these phones are not worth waiting for as they don't offer much that is not covered by current low-cost phones on the North American market. The N10 5G includes an oc...

Apple’s iPhone 12 Pro Max offers a minor camera update over the iPhone 12 Pro

Apple's new iPhone 12 Pro Max is a true photographic beast. That being said, it's important to note that unless you really like taking photos with your smartphone, the iPhone 12 Pro Max's minor camera updates over the iPhone 12 Pro are probably not worth their $ 1,549 price tag.The 6.7-inch iPhone 12 Pro Max looks identical to its smaller 6.1-inch counterpart, including the grease-attracting stainless steel band that runs around its new flat edges. While I like the slightly faded 'gold' iPhone 12 Pro Max that Apple sent me, its almost shiny gold stainless steel edges are a bit too flashy for my liking. Fortunately, since I put all my smartphones in cases, this is not really a big concern for me. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is also available in the matte colors 'Graphite', 'Silver' and o...

The iPhone 12 mini is an incredibly cute high-end iPhone | MobileSyrup

Apple's iPhone 12 mini feels ridiculously small. It's basically the same smartphone as the iPhone 12 Pro and, to a lesser extent, the iPhone 12 Pro Max, only the device measures 5.4 inches instead of 6.1 inches and 6.7 inches. To put how small this is in perspective, the iPhone 12 mini is a bit smaller than the 4.7-inch iPhone SE (2020), but features a much wider screen thanks to its nearly bezel-less design and the lack of a button. physical touch identification. . If you liked the look of the iPhone 5, 5S, or even the SE, this is the closest Apple has come to the aesthetics of those smartphones in several years thanks to the flat sides of the iPhone 12 mini. Compared to almost all flagship smartphones of 2020, and even most smartphones released in recent years, the iPhone 12 mini ...

IPhone 12 review: the one you should buy

One thing is very clear about Apple's iPhone 12 lineup: The standard iPhone 12 is the device that most Apple users should consider buying if they are looking for a new iPhone. While this was also the case with last year's iPhone 11, updates Apple has made to the smartphone, including the new 6.1-inch / 5.4-inch OLED Super Retina XDR display on the iPhone 12 / iPhone 12 Mini, 5G capabilities. , its A14 processor and more equate to an impressive smartphone package. Except for the telephoto lens of the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, the light range and detection sensor (LiDAR), and a few other relatively minor technical differences, the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 mini are almost identical to the iPhone 12 Pro series. As expected, these updates also have a price increase, with last year's iPh...

Roku’s Streambar is the perfect soundbar complement to budget TV soundbar streaming

Roku has built the perfect budget streaming device with Streambar. While it may not be the best soundbar on the market, its value as a TV sound upgrade is second to none. The Roku Streambar combines a top-of-the-line 4K-capable Roku streaming bar with a small soundbar. The idea behind the device is that it is the perfect all-in-one upgrade for anyone with a non-smart TV. While most 4K TVs already include some smart streaming and functionality apps like Netflix, some don't yet. Most of the time, these dumb TVs are low-end models with faulty rear speakers. So Roku Streambar tries to solve both problems with one easy-to-use device. How it sounds? The Roku Streambar offers surprisingly robust sound. While it's not going to surprise anyone like the Sonos Arc, at just under $ 200 CAD, it...

Amazon Echo 2020 Review: The World’s Smartest Magic Eight Ball

The 2020 Amazon Echo is an enigma. It basically includes last year's feature set. Echo Plus Packed in a spherical body and priced at $ 129 from the standard Echo. In fact, Amazon also revamped the Echo Dot in the same way, but at least it still sells the old Dot and Dot with disk-shaped clock for people who are not looking for a large smart speaker. There is still no denying that the new Echo is a great smart speaker. That said, the unique design requires more attention than last year's Echo, which is a step back in my opinion, especially after the company got so close to perfection with the Echo Dot with Clock. "Magic eight ball, is that a good design?"Before I get into the technical side of things, I'll tackle the new design. As you may have already guessed, I don't like it. I un...

OnePlus Buds Z headphones deliver huge sound at a low cost

I finally have a few days to spend with the OnePlus Buds Z, and they are astonishingly cool. These inexpensive buttons are surprisingly comfortable, offer a fun sound profile, and come in a charging case that's roughly the same size and design as the one included with Samsung's Galaxy Buds +. After falling in love with the OnePlus buttons in July, I wasn't sure how a lower-cost model could beat the already inexpensive OnePlus Buds, but these new buttons from the company make me eat those words. While on paper, the $ 70 Buds Z may look worse than the $ 109 OnePlus Buds (which are currently on sale for $ 80), they are super comparable in practice, so it really comes down to which set feels best in your ears. So how do they compare? The OnePlus Buds Z look a lot like the older Buds, but ...
