DJI’s New Pocket Camera Brings Stabilized 4K Content to the Masses

Mobile camera, gimbal and drone company DJI has a new pocket camera called DJI Pocket 2 that can shoot 4K video with three-axis stabilization. This new camera is the successor to the Osmo Pocket, although the company has removed the Osmo brand from the product. The company says this new version has a larger image sensor and a wider angle lens, plus there's a new eight-fold zoom feature that allows for great close-up shots. Android 11 to limit third-party camera apps, Google citing location spying concern

Android 11 will usher in a change in the way apps access the camera. Google claims it's a way to protect user data, but it could hurt third-party camera developers. On August 17, the Android engineering team explained in a bug post that Android 11 would force apps to take photos or videos with a phone's built-in camera app, even if users set a third-party option as their default camera. At the time, the team said they believed it was the "right trade-off to protect the privacy and security of our users."
