Garth Brooks adds new opening night show in Edmonton, June 24

An all-new opening night show in Edmonton has been added to the Garth Brooks Stadium Tour.

Garth Brooks’ takeover of the capital city will now kick off on June 24, at 7 pm, at Commonwealth Stadium, rain or shine.

Edmonton is the only Canadian stop on his Stadium Tour.

Tickets for the June 25 show went on sale Friday and sold out quickly leaving fans disappointed. Many took to social media begging the county music legend for a second show and their pleas were answered.

Tickets will cost $104.94 for the June 24 show and go on sale Thursday at 10 am There is an eight-ticket limit per customer. You can purchase tickets online at www.ticketmaster.ca/garthbrooks, by calling 1-877-654-2784 or by using the Ticketmaster app on your mobile device. There are no advanced box office sales.

The last time Brooks was in the city was in 2017 when more than 160,000 fans went to see him play at Rogers Place for a record-setting Edmonton run of nine sold-out performances. Brooks had a banner raised at Rogers Place to commemorate the series of concerts.
