Calgary police are seeking help identifying suspects and a “suspicious vehicle” in connection to another vehicle theft and shooting in August 2021.
Around 1 am on August 2, 2021, a resident of the 0-100 block of Patterson Boulevard SW called police to report that his vehicle, a turquoise Chevrolet Spark, had been stolen.
Investigators believe the suspects were caught on CCTV moments before the vehicle was stolen.

Police describe a male suspect with a slim build, wearing black or dark-colored sneakers, shorts, a baseball cap, a T-shirt and black or dark-colored gloves.
A female suspect of medium build is described, wearing black or dark-colored sneakers, leggings, a baseball cap and a hooded sweater.
Police believe a third individual assisted in the car theft. The person was sitting in a dark-colored SUV or pickup truck parked in the 200 block of Patterson Mount SW at the time of the robbery, police said.
CPS also believes that those who stole the Spark may have information about an August 19, 2021 shooting in Crescent Heights.

That Thursday night, police responded to calls of shots fired in the 200 block of 11 Avenue NE. Police found evidence of a shooting and a man apparently suffering from a gunshot wound.
Investigators identified two vehicles they said were in the area during the shooting: a silver Nissan Versa and a turquoise Chevrolet Spark.
“We now believe that the occupants of the Chevrolet Spark during the … shooting (on 11th Avenue) may be the suspects wanted for the theft of the vehicle and may also have information about the Crescent Heights shooting,” a CPS statement issued reads. on Tuesday.
Police received footage of what appears to be the stolen Spark abandoned in Renfrew on August 31, 2021. CCTV footage shows a person exiting the Spark.

That vehicle was later confirmed as the stolen vehicle and returned to its owner.
Police are asking anyone with information about the stolen car, the two people suspected of stealing the car, the person who left the Spark, the dark pickup/SUV, or the Crescent Heights shooting to call police. at 403-266-1234. or contact Crime Stoppers.
