According to spokesman Jean-Pierre Voutsinos of the Longueuil police, these radical searches are aimed at disrupting a well-established distribution network.

The Caballa Project was first initiated by investigators from the Longueuil Police Department (SPAL) last April, following information received from the public about the presence of a narcotics distribution network on the south coast of Montreal.
