A fire in a residential structure damaged a two-story home on Thursday but caused no injuries, Edmonton Fire Rescue Services (EFRS) said.

Just after 4:20 p.m., six fire crews responded to a call about a fire near 113 Avenue and 93 Street in the Alberta Avenue neighborhood, where a single-family home was on fire, EFRS spokesman Rowan Anderson said.

While no occupants were reported at the time, the “completely involving fire” damaged about half of the home, Anderson said. No further details on the damage were available.

The fire was brought under control at 4:50 pm.
