Surrey RCMP first arrested Gauvreau-May on September 15 in an allegedly stolen vehicle.

That arrest led to the launch of a broader investigation by the RCMP’s Auto Crimes Target Team, which uncovered evidence of multiple burglaries in Surrey, Burnaby, Coquitlam, Delta and West Vancouver.

On October 8, the Auto Crimes Team executed multiple search warrants and discovered a variety of stolen property, including electronics, video games, personal care products, private mail, and identity documents.

The Mounties were unable to estimate the full value of the products due to the high volume, they said Wednesday, but several of the items have been returned to their owners.
