The Oxford County OPP has identified the victim of a fatal collision that took place in East Zorra-Tavistock Township.
Police say that around 4:30 p.m. Friday, emergency crews were notified of a single-vehicle accident on line 16.
The investigation determined that a vehicle went off the road and hit a tree.
The driver, who was the sole occupant of the vehicle, was rushed to the hospital by air ambulance with life-threatening injuries and later died.
The victim has been identified as 58-year-old Stewart Deller of Woodstock.
The road was closed for about six hours for the investigation. It has since reopened.
