The John McGivney Children’s Center is offering games and prizes this week in conjunction with COVID-19 vaccines.

The organization is hosting a series of pop-up vaccination clinics at its center at 3945 Matchette Rd. In partnership with the Windsor-Essex County Health Unit.
To make the experience more “fun and welcoming,” there will be costumed heroes to welcome the children. There will also be goodie bags for kids, a coloring contest, and a chance to win a fun family gift basket worth over $ 500.
The center also has a large outdoor playground where children can play while they wait for their vaccination.
Clinics are open Monday through Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. M. At 4 p. M. For people 5 years and older, including adults. The clinics are open to anyone in Essex County. No appointment is necessary.
The first, second, and third booster doses of mRNA vaccines are available, along with flu vaccines.
