Windsor Police have released surveillance camera footage that investigators say shows the same suspect in multiple graffiti incidents over the past month.
The first image relates to the “Kurs” graffiti wave that occurred on Ottawa Street.
At around 3:45 a.m. on September 25, a video camera recorded a male figure in dark clothing applying spray paint to a business in the 1400 block of Ottawa Street.
Several businesses on Ottawa Street were similarly damaged at the time.
Police described the individual in the recording as a white male, who appeared to be between 25 and 30 years old.
Along with his black clothes, he was wearing a black backpack with a large Under Armor symbol and riding a skateboard.
The following images are from a business in the 2900 block of Tecumseh Road East, near Drouillard Road, that was hit by “Kurs” on two different occasions.

Investigators believe that all the incidents are related and that surveillance footage shows the same person: the person responsible for the “Kurs” label and its associated drawings of a large-lipped cartoon face or a stick figure with a joint.
Windsor police said they are also aware of other “Kurs” graffiti incidents on Drouillard Road, downtown and elsewhere on Ottawa Street.
