Windsor Police Releases More Photos Of Arson Suspect

Windsor Police are again asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect arson.

Police released a photo taken from surveillance footage Wednesday of a person they believe may have started a fire in the 700 block of Windsor Avenue on Sept. 30.

The suspect is described as female, white and wearing a gray baseball cap with a black trim, black spring jacket, gray pants, and black sandals. The suspect was carrying several bags and a black backpack.

In surveillance footage, the suspect could be seen pulling a personal shopping cart. A red recycling box appeared to be on top of the cart.

Investigators are asking anyone with information to contact police at 519-255-6700 ext. 4330, or ext. 4000 after hours. If you wish to remain anonymous, please contact Crime Stoppers at 519-258-8477 (TIPS) or online at catchcrooks.com .

Police also encourage those in the area with surveillance cameras to review their images for more evidence.

Emergency personnel were called to the Windsor Avenue residence fire shortly after 3 a.m. on September 30.

The fire caused an estimated $ 125,000 in damage and displaced four people. Nobody was hurt.
