Windsor police release updated photos of suspects in knife point robbery

New and clearer images have been released of a suspected woman in the violent robbery of a convenience store on Ouellette Avenue last month.

Released to the public as part of an investigation by the Windsor Police Major Crimes Unit, the images show the woman’s face without a mask.

Police have been searching for the suspect since the night of October 15, around 9:15 p.m., when patrol officers responded to a report of a robbery at a store in the 1400 block of Ouellette Avenue.

The suspect had already fled on foot when officers arrived. The store clerk sustained non-critical injuries from the encounter with the thief.

Surveillance cameras showed the suspect wearing a white surgical mask and brandishing a knife at the clerk before grabbing an amount of cash and running north on the west side of Ouellette Avenue.

The suspect is described as a white woman, between five foot seven and five foot eight in height and around 160 pounds in weight. He appears to be in his 30s.
