Harry Potter showed his fans the true value of friendship (With spoilers!).
Harry Potter, known in the wizarding world of Hogwarts What ‘the boy who survived‘, he faced great adversities: from fighting a basilisk to having epic battles with the most dangerous magicians in existence. Although all this he could not do alone, but needed the help of those who trusted and risked their lives for him. With this, the Harry Potter saga showed its fans the true value of friendship (With spoilers!).
Ronald Weasley He is one of the most important characters in the saga and one of the members of ‘The Golden Trio‘, which also includes Harry and Hermione Granger. Ron, from a poor family, was Harry’s first friend and they ended up having a relationship as if it were brothers. Although there were arguments, either because of Ron’s insecurities or because of the effects of his locket. Salazar Slytherin, Ron was always loyal to Harry, fighting alongside him and risking his life on multiple occasions, such as in the first book (harry potter and the Philosopher’s Stone) with the magic chess game.
Harry also showed Ron that he would always be with him and his family regardless of his financial situation, and that is shown in a scene where when Draco Malfoy, a much more popular boy with more powerful influences, offers Harry to be his friend and abandon Ron, he rejects him; thus proving that true friendships are not governed by power or wealth.
Hermione GrangerAlthough he is one of the most important people to Harry, he had a much ‘colder’ start with the protagonist. The magician was initially depicted as a know-it-all and a hostile girl, but when the two best friends saved her from a troll, she became one of their best friends. As the story progressed you could see how Hermione cared for Harry, was loyal to him (even when everyone was against him) and helped and supported him in everything he did, from the hunt for horcruxes to class assignments. On more than one occasion Harry survived because of Hermione’s help and his knowledge of magic potions and spells..
The students and teachers came to think that between the two characters there was a stronger feeling than friendship (even Ron thought so), but both showed that what united them was a almost ‘family’ relationship. “She is like my sister. I love her like a sister and I know she feels the same way about me. She has always been like that.” Phrase said by Harry towards his best friend Ron Weasley.
Rubeus Hagrid, Known by his last name, he is the ranger of the Hogwarts magic school and shares a very special relationship with the protagonist of the saga since they have many similarities. Both characters were orphaned at an early age and, starting at Hogwarts, they were afraid of being judged or not accepted for who they were. Hagrid at all times cared for the protagonist and was on his side when he needed him and vice versa.
With this friendship, moreover, it was shown that appearance does not matter since the important thing is the interior of the people and Hagrid is a kind, innocent man who cares about the people he loves the most. On more than one occasion he covered the famous Trio when they were up to theirs or helped them solve any problem they had.
Neville Longbottom He is a great friend of Harry’s since their first year they met. Although the boy’s appearance is clumsy and scary, he has always been next to the protagonist of the saga, helping him in almost all battles.
Neville always cared about Harry, as well as Ron and Hermione, for that reason he even dared to stand up to them to prevent them from escaping at night when they were barely 11 years old. Furthermore, Neville was also among the first to enter the famous’Dumbledore’s Army‘placing his trust in Harry.
When at the final battle at Hogwarts they believed Voldemort had killed Harry, this was the first to stand up to the villain. He was also the one who killed Nagini (snake and last horcrux) thus helping the protagonist.
Luna Lovegood is one of the most extravagant characters in the saga and on more than one occasion she has been described as a weird girl, although this did not stop our protagonist from establishing a great relationship with her.
Although she was not part of Ron, Harry and Hermione’s group, Luna always helped Harry when he needed her and believed him in situations like when Harry claimed that ‘the dark lord‘ He had returned. In addition, Luna was a great support for Harry when it came to talking about a deceased relative, since she could understand him because she experienced the death of her mother.
Hedwig It is the little owl that Hagrid gave Harry in his first year at Hogwarts. During the years that he attended Hogwarts school, the owl always accompanied him, helped him and proved him to be a loyal companion. Throughout the saga both characters show that there is the possibility that there is a link between a person and their pet to such an extent that Hedwig understood everything Harry said to him. and, (from the looks of it) vice versa.
During the battle of Little Whinging Hedwig sacrificed her life in order to protect Hagrid and Harry’s. For the protagonist, losing the animal was like losing a human friend.
