Dick Clark’s New Years Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2022 (ABC)

Saying the name of this celebration requires perseverance, and so will watching the whole five-and-a-half hour thing. It’s the 50th anniversary of the show previously hosted by the late Dick Clark, and Ryan Seacrest is back at the helm of the Times Square party in New York City, along with co-host Liza Koshy. Ciara oversees things in Los Angeles, while Billy Porter weighs in from New Orleans. This year, for the first time, viewers will also be able to see the festivities in Puerto Rico, with Roselyn Sánchez as the host. Performers include LL Cool J, Journey, Avril Lavigne, Macklemore and Ryan Lewis, OneRepublic, and Walker Hayes.

Miley’s New Years Eve Party hosted by Miley Cyrus and Pete Davidson (NBC)

Extending its title to exceed the length of Rockin ‘Eve in a nutshell, this party features the titular pop singer and the cast member of Saturday Night Live joining together to ring in the new year. SNL’s mastermind Lorne Michaels is an executive producer on the show, which will air live from Miami. Brandi Carlile, Billie Joe Armstrong, Saweetie, Anitta, Jack Harlow, 24kGoldn and Kitty Ca $ h are scheduled to perform.

New Years Eve in Canada: Countdown to 2022 (CBC, CBC Gem)

Comedian Rick Mercer presents this one-hour special with musical performances from coast to coast. Mercer’s latest book, Talking to Canadians: A Memoir, was released last month.

New Years Eve Live: Nashville’s Big Bash (CBS)

Radio and television host Bobby Bones is the emcee for this one, along with Rachel Smith of Entertainment Tonight. The five-hour show will feature more than 50 performances and will cross multiple time zones. Those taking the stage include Jason Aldean, Kelsea Ballerini, Dierks Bentley, Brooks & Dunn, Luke Bryan, Elle King, Miranda Lambert, Darius Rucker, Blake Shelton and the Zac Brown Band.

New Years Eve Live (CNN)

Anderson Cooper and Andy Cohen will re-pair for the Times Square Livestream. The program will also include, for the first time, reports from the Old San Juan district of Puerto Rico. CNN correspondent Gary Tuchman and his daughter, Newsy host Lindsay Tuchman, will be on the scene there.
