Here are some closures for motorists to note in Montreal and surrounding areas for the Fête nationale weekend.

The Fontaine Tunnel: Completely closed toward Longueuil from midnight to 6 am on Friday, and only one lane open toward Montreal during the same period.

Jacques Cartier Bridge: Completely closed to motorists on Saturday from 8:30 pm to 11:30 pm so pedestrians can watch the fireworks. Access ramps will be closed starting at 8 pm

Honoré-Mercier Bridge: From 2 am on Saturday to 7 am on Sunday, one of two spans will be closed, and one lane of traffic open in each direction on the remaining span. The same closures tentatively apply between 7 am on Sunday and 5 am on Monday.

Ville-Marie Expressway: From Sunday at 11 pm to Monday at 5 am Exit 6 (Berri St., St-Laurent Blvd.) will be closed.

Highway 10: From Sunday at 10 pm to Monday at 5 am, the east and west entrances at Marie-Victorin Blvd. on Highway 10 will be closed.

Highway 13: From Sunday at 9 pm to Monday at 5 am, two out of three lanes will be closed between Exit 2 (Hickmore St.) and the following entrance on Highway 13 North. Southbound, two of three lanes are closed from the exit for Highway 520 East and the entrance from Hickmore. Ramps from Highway 520 to Highway 13 South are also closed.

Highway 15: In Laval, southbound exit 14 for Curé-Labelle Blvd. and Dagenais Blvd. will be closed from 9 pm Thursday to 4:30 am Friday.

Highway 15/40 interchange: The ramp leading from Highway 15 South to Highway 40 East will be closed Friday from 12:30 am to 5 am

Highway 20/30 interchange: In Boucherville, the Highway 20 West service road towards Montreal will be closed from Saturday at 11:59 pm to Monday at 5 am

Highway 20: From Sunday at 11 pm to Monday at 5 am, three of four lanes will be closed on Highway 20 East at Exit 62 (Dollard, St-Pierre Aves.), and two of three lanes in both directions between 1st Ave. and the St -Pierre Exchange. In Longueuil, during the same period, westbound Exit 90 (Varennes, LaPrairie) will be closed. Also in Longueuil, Exit 82 eastbound (Jacques-Cartier Bridge) will be closed from 9 pm Sunday to 5 am Monday.

Highway 40: Exits for Côte-Vertu Blvd. will be closed Sunday night, westbound at 8:30 pm and eastbound at 11 pm, both until Monday at 5 am The highway will also be closed entirely eastbound between Exit 65 (Côte-de-Liesse Rd. ) and the Laurentian interchange from 11 pm Sunday to 5 am Monday. From Sunday at 10:30 pm to Monday at 5 am, Exit 71 westbound (St-Laurent Blvd.) will be closed. In Ste-Anne-de-Bellevue, will be completely closed westbound at Anciens-Combattants Blvd. from 11 pm Thursday to 5 am Friday, with traffic diverted to the service road.

Route 125: Pie-IX Blvd. will be closed from Sunday at 10 pm to Monday at 5 am between St-Martin and de la Concorde Blvds., the southbound side of Route 125 will be entirely closed and one out of two lanes will be closed on the northboundside.
