Waterloo Police Arrest 2 Friday After Separate Child Pornography Investigations | The Canadian News

Waterloo Regional Police say two people were arrested Friday in connection with separate child pornography investigations.

Police say they arrested a 17-year-old in Kitchener, Ontario, in connection with an investigation that began in August after the National Child Exploitation Coordination Center alerted them to a person possessing child pornography.

They say the young man faces two counts of possession of child pornography.

Additionally, a 25-year-old man from Waterloo, Ontario, was arrested following another investigation that began last month by the Service’s Cybercrime Child Internet Exploitation Unit.
