Victoria Rodríguez Ceja will be the first governor of Banco de México

President Andrés Manuel López Obrador appointed Victoria Rodriguez Ceja as governor of Bank of Mexico, replacing Alejandro Diaz de Leon.

In a trade that already has the seal of Bank of Mexico, the legal counsel of the Presidency, Maria Estela Ríos González, reported that the head of the executive branch appointed Rodríguez Ceja as governor of Banco de México, based on articles 38, 40 and 41 of the Central Bank Law.
