Vancouver Weather: Rain, then slight chance of showers


Settle in for some gray weather, Metro Vancouver. Environment and Climate Change Canada is forecasting rain or overcast weather for at least a week.

VANCOUVER, BC: Wednesday, May 4. Today’s weather is expected to start out with rain and then switch to a slight chance of showers later in the afternoon, with a high of 12 C, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada. Overnight, it looks like the region will see some heavy rain, with up to 10 millimetres expected, and a low of 8 C and then Thursday is also expected to be rainy, with up to 15 millimetres expected. On Friday, there’s a good chance of showers with a high of 12 C followed by rain on Saturday and 11 C. The forecast suggests there may be a reprieve from the wet weather on Sunday, although it’s likely to remain overcast, with a high of 11 C. Next week will probably start out with a chance of showers Monday followed by a cloudy Tuesday, according to the agency.
